The hotel we stayed at for the wedding happened to be on the site of a beach music festival. Every night, from 10-12, we were treated to various Portuguese bands, up close and personal. So personal, so close, that the floor in our room shook. Seriously, there were hoards of crazy Portuguese rocking along to bad covers of Bohemian Rhapsody all night. While trying to sleep our first night there, after listening to an hour and a half of music we couldn't understand, Queen started blasting, and Chris and I started cracking up. It got even better when we were blessed with 'Bryan Adam's' rendition of "Summer of '69."By our third night there, it wasn't quite as funny...
Unfortunately, my otherwise intelligent family shared a water bottle the whole trip, and now we all have a nagging cold/sore throat. Other than that, things are going great. Hopefully we'll know the sex of the baby in the next month, and we've got a couple trips to Vegas scheduled which should be a nice break from school. The semester is going to be hard, but thankfully it's Chris' last so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Somehow Chris and I have gotten hooked on Heroes. We've watched season one over the past three or four days and are almost completely done... in other words, we make really productive use of our time.
This is my beautiful new aunt, Gisela, and my cousin Maria. I don't have any other pictures on my computer, but I'll upload them sometime in the future.

Great to hear the trip went well and even better to hear that you are feeling better Taylor. along with your trips to Las Vegas you should throw in a quick jont to Twin Falls! anyway We look forward to seeing you guys at the reunion!
thank you for not blaming me for getting everyone sick. i am tired of feeling responsible for everyone's "strong bug" as mom calls it.
Glad to see that your blog, much like your health, is improving. Nice photo of you and Gisela and Maria too. I'm not sure you should be publishing the fact that you are not studying but rather just watching heroes - difficult later to explain why you failed the philosophy exam. These are little words of wisdom - hope you are jotting them down. Was great to see you both in Portugal -anxious to know if it will be a William or Wilhemina. Keep your respective noses clean and stop sharing water bottles! Love, Bill
